Purchase of original paintings
Each of my paintings comes with a signed "Certificate of Authenticity". Initially please contact email@example.com
to confirm availability of paintings. If an artwork is not available,
I am happy to discuss whether a similar work is available. The
copyright of all paintings sold remains that of myself by law. Payment by Credit or Debit card is accepted via PayPal secure payment system or by BACS. Card transactions will be conducted via PayPal - an email will be sent to you with a link to PayPal's secure site. There is no charge to use this facility.
Paintings will be dispatched on clearance of funds and are sold without mount or frame and dispatched in rigid cardboard tubes or reinforced envelopes depending on size. Paintings can be purchased with frame and mount if the customer is willing to collect their purchase from Cardiff, Wales, UK. To Purchase from outside the UK, please e-mail for details of shipping costs.
Paintings will be ready to dispatch in 3-5 business days and will be shipped without mount or frame in rigid cardboard tubes or reinforced envelopes, layered in clear acetate and white acid-free tissue paper. Postage within the United Kingdom is by Special Delivery which includes insurance. At present this is 12 GBP. If purchasing more than one painting there will be no extra postage charged.
If shipping outside the United Kingdom, the customer will be responsible for any duties and customs charges that may be incurred. Details of shipping outside the UK can be provided on application.
Hopefully you will be delighted with your purchase but if something is wrong please let me know by email within 7 days and we can try to sort it out to your satisfaction. Equally if something is lost or damaged in transit please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Cancellation of purchase
Under the requirements of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations
2000 you are entitled to cancel your purchase within a period of seven working
days. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of seven working
days beginning with the day after the day on which You receive the painting(s).
In order to cancel a purchase please notify me by
email within the cancellation period. In
this case, you should send back the painting(s) straight away and,
on receipt in good order you will receive the re-payment of the
purchase price. All postal costs, including the original dispatch of the item,
are at your expense. You will also be liable for any damage to the item in
transit when it is returned.
Information I Collect
To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you are ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a painting commission for example).
Why I need your information and how I use it.
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including: As needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support. If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my business, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
